Fall semester 2024
Arkansas A+ "pARTners" program was a 3 week afterschool program for selected elementary schools in Little Rock, AR inviting working artists to teach their craft across 6 sessions followed by a student exhibition and gathering, showcasing the student artwork and lessons learned to parents, friends and teachers. My photography program's topics included camera usage, principles of design, and photo history along with hands-on learning creating cyanotypes, light painting, portraits, time-lapse, and photo scavenger hunts.

Students had the opportunity to use a variety of cameras, tools, and techniques to create photographs. At times Alex would provide guidance and answer questions. Students would also get self-guided solo and group assignments to allow for freedom of exploration.
